I would say having a trainer’s most important role is that of creating an atmosphere of accountability.

I used to have a trainer that would come to my home. She was wonderful, and brought a lot of equipment with her until I started collecting some of the stuff. She was easy to work with, even though I don’t usually like people in my home. Weird, huh?

I really like reason #7. My job as a trainer is to educate. After a period of time, I hope that my clients are comfortable enough to work out on their own, seeing me from time to time for a tune up.

I saw this come up in my email, and came’a running. Nice list Toni. I started working with a trainer just recently. I was too stuborn before. I’ve notice that in the last two weeks that I’ve made more improvement than I did the 4 months previous.
